Ooh, take a gander at this:
I dont get the trailer, I personally know it's a home/handheld console but the trailer doesn't really highlight that it makes it look like a large tablet console you can dock
If the games are on 3ds style cards does that mean the performance hardware is in the tablet? If so how does it run something like Skyrim? I'm not a fag that cares about graphics but tablet bound hardware means it'll run like a potato
Is anyone else psyched about the cartridges thing?I hate disks--always have. So easy to damage. You can't even touch them without potentially scratching them.Carts never had them problem. Also, faster startup and loading times--you know, that thing people whine about constantly.

The Nintendo Switch home gaming system will "absolutely" support amiibo for compatible Nintendo Switch games, Nintendo has confirmed to IGN.[...]"The Nintendo Switch Dock has been created so that it is extremely easy to seamlessly switch from playing games on a TV to transition into a portable mode," a Nintendo representative told IGN.Nintendo continued: "The dock is not the main console unit of Nintendo Switch. The main unit of Nintendo Switch is the unit that has the LCD screen, which the two Joy-Con controllers can be attached to and detached from. The main function of the Nintendo Switch Dock is to provide an output to the TV, as well as charging and providing power to the system."According to Nintendo, the Joy-Con controllers — named Joy-Con L and Joy-Con R — will be included alongside the Nintendo Switch system.
