I believe the issue is because there are more niche specific maps (warzone and break out maps will only be in those playlists exclusively) as opposed to previous games being separated by just slayer and big team (which was still essentially slayer).

Other than Halo 2, Halo 5 will have the most maps at launch. That's a great way to provide diversity until the first DLC launches.

I was bored with Halo 4's and Reach's launch maps within a week.
