It was mostly humongously disappointing, but had a few good things about it. Controls were tight af, the E3* graphics mods were neat, the rain is the best I've ever seen in a game, but it's filled to the brim with Hollywood hacking and technobabble, an incomprehensible story, awful cutscenes, and poorly thought out multiplayer mods. The best sniper rifle in the game is way too OP, able to one-hit-kill literally anything.

The highlights were the 'invasion' type game modes. Hacking or stalking another player in their own game is excellent and doesn't get old. Unfortunately, the pause menu is easily exploitable for knowing when someone's entered your game, and boats are a guaranteed victory for the defender.

As hyped as it was when it was about to come out, hell yes it was disappointing.

But when all the hype just simmered down, I booted it up on PC (got it for free with my NVidia card) and I actually had a blast with it. It is fun, but the hype machine just made it out to be so much better than it actually was. Decent gameplay, alright story, and good shooting mechanics.
