The console versions were better than the PC version, and even on some pretty hefty gaming rigs it was struggling to go above 30fps

It is locked at 30 by default, and you have to modify the max framerate in a text file.

On my beast build, I would get a fairly consistent 50-60 FPS (on max settings) during gameplay, and an occasional frame drop, plus screen tearing, right after loads and on batmobile sequences. Cutscenes would lag like hell, though.

I'm not too mad, because I only spent $30 on it, and just got Witcher III, also.

The PS4 and Xbox One versions also have better effects. Most namely ambient occlusion and rain drop effects on Batman's costume.

Console version runs flawlessly, though. It's not an excuse for a broken game, I know. Not quite sure what's going to RS's head this time around... and that's in-reference to more than one problem with the game.
