That's why I use him in Wii U, which is good because I care more about the character than simply whether he makes me win or not.

As for melee, if there are any it's mostly coincidental. People who like Marth in melee wouldn't use him for tourneys in Smash 4 because he's not as good.

It's all about tiers

If I really was obsessed with winning I'd use Diddy Kong or Rosalina

But when Cloud comes out he's going to be my main and I will play Smash 4 every day.

Need a new tournament here when the next wave of DLC releases, since I don't think Cloud will release by himself.

I'd assume there would be a couple who may have been Casual players at first, chose their main based off liking the character, etc, and kept that main through their improvement. Wouldn't be a bad idea for whoever does Youtube Coverage for those to ask the players questions on that subject at the next big Tourney. I'd be interested in seeing the answers.

Mained him in Brawl, he plays really different in this game. He's still really fun though.
