According to Respawn Monarch was based on two Vanguard Class Titans recovered after the battle of Typhon, Evidently the two Chasis that BT inhabits during the game. There's just one problem with this:

Typhon FUCKING EXPLODED.
Not only that, but BT's second Chassis was annihilated when it self destructed in the middle of the planet destroying fold weapon.
So either Vanguard Class Titans are actually Precursor artifacts, or somebody in the writing department done fucked up.

The SRS guys you drop with in Trial by Fire all use Vanguards.

Makes sense to me that some ARES forces would move in after that battle and extract this (based on dialogue) rare and unique technology. There's The Ark, the period where Jack is unconcious and the entirety of The Fold Weapon for them to airlift two pieces of equipment out via Phantom.

I also imagine that once some of the larger rocks begin to stabilise into an orbit, salvage teams would probably go down to the site.

Hell, we never see what happens to IMS Thermopylae. That could have been carrying them, utilising Vanguards that were destroyed in the initial drop on Typhon and in the initial fighting.

In a completely unrelated note,me and my friend were gonna do a Militia video to release today but we delayed it for two reasons; the script I wrote was half an hour's worth of recording so we've cut it into two episodes. The other reason being we're doing a fancy Monarch Reigns episode about IMS Odyssey to release on tuesday.

Looks like Monarch has two executions, one triggered by using siphon that grants you an extra battery

Leaks indicate that the battery steal one is triggered if you have an upgrade with your upgrade core that allows you to do that. It's a high-level upgrade though.

I think you can still find the main (aka the good) playlists. Attrition and whatnot. But I asked /tfg/ and the one guy who responded said the active playerbase is less than half that of console.

For the amount of time I've see people talk about how complex TF is, the community is pretty sensitive.

Learn to use the Mastiff/ EPG/ Softball/ Cold War if you want to get fanmail. Don't use SMG shittery.

I don't know what any of those are, but I'll have a look.

Mastiff is a shotgun with wide horizontal but no vertical spread. EPG is an old arena shootrt style rocket launcher that requires considerable lead, Cold war is a 4-grenade burst gun that requires considerable lead + splash damage to kill and good use of the movement and softball is a sticky grenade launcher. All are projectile weapons and take a lot more skill to use than the shitscans like CAR or R-97.

Hm, I'll give them a shot when I unlock them. For the time being I want to hold on to my initial stats though.



MVP 13/16 games and only one game out of the top 3 (joined late that game I think). I know it won't last but fun to keep the streak going for now. Reminds me of the time I had an average k/d of 36 in Halo 3 Team Doubles for the first day of playing it. Good times.

Also, I know you're not a fan of "shitscans", but what are the best weapons for hipfire run-and-gun? I wanna give that a shot too. Alternator?

The CAR, Alternator and R-97 and laser-accurate but you're a bad person if you use them. Doubly so if PC. R-201/ R-101 are also ok.

EPG-1 is also very accurate but has to compensate for travel time and 1HKs and the L-STAR is just the DOOM plasma rifle. The X-55 Devotion also has good hipfire but you're also a bad person for using that.
