Well I can do Legion. But the Stryder titans I'm horrendous with because I don't like "poking"/ not being able to tank, I just don't find Ion very effective and Tone is just bland.

Scorch can tank and just deals fuck tons of damage if his attacks are properly co ordinated.

Ronin is pretty cool too. And scorch. Fuck I like all of them basically.

Right now I'm using hemlock. L Star is lit though. Makes me mad how the RC is still the best gun in the game.

Stim is the far better mobility option and it speeds health regen. Not as busted as it was in TF1 but still great
as for the other abilities; sonar blade is busted and A-wall is equaly cancerous. Those along with phase dash are banned in competitive. Everything else is meh

Spawns are fine
That initial charge by both teams is fucking epic
And titan combat is great since all the lanes are narrow, it's head on and gets pretty intense when both teams are trying to push forward with their titans

I'm sensing a bit of a disagreement on what the best picks for classes are.

The grappling hook is just a crutch for people who can't wallrun. The situations where it is useful that couldn't just be accomplished by getting gud are minimal.

Stim will let you move faster and regen health quicker while phase shift will give you a get out of jail free card (two, in fact) if you get surprised. Pulse blade lets you see through walls, A-Wall makes you a stationary target and a juicy one for people with E-Smoke. Camo got nerfed and you shouldn't bother with it.

As for weapons, the CAR and Alternator are good for hip fire while the Volt is decent for more ADS. On console, Hemlok is downright overpowered and the EVA shotgun is well worth a use, particularly in hardpoint.

You can't really go wrong with grenade choice. Firestar, Grav Star, Frags, Arcs, Electric Smoke are all viable.
