the fat ps3 basically had a ps2 built into it
it was too expensive to have there if the price was going to be cut

thus no backwards compatibility

Deadlocked is on PS3 also.

Size Matters was okay, but it was kinda watered down. They had a third party work on it, and it really does have that "new dad trying to act like your old dad" feel to it. It's weird. Don't bother with Secret Agent Clank.

Buying collections is kinda sketchy. If you wanna just save money, fine, but with these kinds of ports, you're obviously gonna come across various problems. R&C Collection has some frame rate issues, graphical oddities here and there, and the music doesn't loop properly. Just be aware of that.

Yeah all 3 of the PS2 icon's ports were handled poorly. I mean, the frame rate is 60FPS on all the MGS games, too, but it doesn't drop like it does in Ratchet and Clank (ESPECIALLY Up Your Arsenal).

I still think they're the best version to play, though. Trophy support and colour correction.

Because I can get MGS HD Collection (£12) and MGS4 (£4) separate for less than the Legacy Collection (£25).
