Win8 is close to what the 360 had been using for a while, and the X1 OS is very similar other than the silly Games and Apps app.

Go back and use a 360 with the launch OS, and tell me that the X1's OS isn't an improvement

Even the blades dashboard wasn't as bad as the Xbone's OS.
And the 360's current dashboard isn't an overly cluttered pile of shit. The Xbox Guide is much better than what the Xbone has.

What's pathetic is that I had to go onto YouTube to find out how to delete games. With the 360 it's straight forward. What I also love is just all the steps you have to do.

1.Start from Home (press the Xbox button on your controller to go Home).
2.Go to My games and apps.
3.Highlight the content that you want to uninstall.
4.Press the Menu button on your controller.
5.Select Manage Game or Manage App.
6.Press the Menu button on your controller again.
7.Select Uninstall.

What the fuck? Deleting a game shouldn't be that complicated and having that many steps. Microsoft sure went full retard with the UI for this thing.

It's enough of a chore getting rid of that "Snap" feature (ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU'RE IN A FUCKING GAME) and half of the game screen is dominated by the "party" screen....but now it's a puzzle to delete games?

360:  Go to System Storage, go to games/apps, press Y on game, click A for Accept.

XB1:  Do a bunch of shit for five minutes and you might be able to make it to step 2.

Lel. How is having all of those steps just to delete a game simple? What was a simple OS is the one the 360 uses. For the deleting a game thing like I said it's a lot easier on the 360 than this so called "very, very simple" OS the Xbone uses. Also it's not because I'm "incapable". It's because MS decided to use a OS for the Xbox that's hard to figure out on your own. People shouldn't have to go onto YouTube just to figure out something that should be simple like deleting a game.

With the 360 if you're playing a game you can simply hit the center button and select friends. With the Xbox it's about as fast but there's a few more steps involved.

Which is the mistake they did with Windows 8. That OS was designed with touch screen devices in mind and not PC's. There was so much backlash for it that Windows 8.1 came out as a free update. It's the same mistake with the Xbone. They designed the OS for Kinect and did a bad job without using the Kinect. Using the UI for the Xbone should be easy either way. Like I said I shouldn't had to use YouTube just to find out how to delete games because the UI for that is so badly designed.

With the 360 all you had to do was go to the storage area, choose the section for memory, select the game and delete it. It is straight forward as hell. With the Xbone it's just a confusing mess. It's sad that I had to go onto YouTube just to find out how to do that. With the 360 I didn't because the UI for that was smartly planned out. Also with the 360 checking your messages or friends list is a hell of a lot easier and faster.
