The game's strength isn't it's depth. You have to judge a game by what it sets out to do. Destiny is not meant to be the Mariana's Trench.

If I'm not allowed to judge a game because I haven't played enough of it, neither are you. Depth has nothing to do with it.

I have always been nervous to talk about me playing Destiny on here just because I was pretty sure I was one of the only people that enjoyed playing the game. I have become more open with it over time and after TTK, which I was extremely pessimistic about I can say Destiny is the game it should have been last year. Ignoring all other content that is in it now a grind is worth playing through the Kings Fall raid. It is such an epic and rewarding experience and when you get done with it you feel like you did something awesome. It is hard to get to that point though. I played a shit ton to get ready for the raid where it came out on friday and the DLC came out tuesday. Getting to 290 light is not very easy but it is truly worth while. It makes me happy knowing that this package that before release I said was not worth 40 dollars is actually completely worth my money.
