The Witcher 3 could definitely improve tenfolds

if the gameplay was better. The motions are too fluid, almost as if the world is bending to the player's will, and the battle system is pretty mediocre.

Anyways, gameplay isn't bad really. Rest of the game makes up for it. MGSV is also good, but it gets repetitive, it's empty, and the story is lacking.

It failed, and compared to Peace Walker in the writing department, it's a joke. The gameplay is the only saving grace, but when a game with that heavy of a story fails on the story, it's bad. And that's not even diving into how I feel about the barren open world and repetitiveness of it all.

The stealth, AI (mostly), movement, customization for weapons, graphics, how the camera cinematography was handled during cut scenes (on par with Hollywood movies), and buddy system are the only pros for me.

I still haven't found a way to use it correctly.

Aside from the crappy AI, all I can do (that works) is use my igni, attack a few times, then jump away twice, parry, igni, repeat

yeah maybe, but only after you complete everything you're supposed to which takes like 100 hours for most players anyway

at which point you've already gotten more bang for your buck than other games he could buy

idk i really feel you let your emotions dictate your opinion on the game (which i understand cuz i do the same with mgs4, except i feel it's a bit more deserved in that game) but if you go back with a clean slate it's still an enjoyable experience, albeit bittersweet

I'm not letting my emotions dictate this though. I've gone back time and time again, even a few weeks ago. In fact it's only been recently I've come to many of the conclusions I have. Don't get me wrong, I don't HATE the game. I enjoy the stealth with no reflex mode on. It's really intense and you have to be careful. I sometimes don't even choose the Sneaking Suit just to keep to the vanilla look, as well as increase the difficulty. The stealth gameplay itself is insanely immersive, intense, and heart wrenching at times.

It's just running from place to place gets old very very quickly, along with the intro to missions with the credits and all that. I should specify I don't hate the game I guess. I'm just disappointed at a lot of things in it because it's easily in my top 3 series.
