Firstly lets take into account that we all can agree that to the common person, PC gaming is.. well not that sociable. When I go to a friends place, and he's on the computer playing games, theres a disconnection. When we play a game spilt-screen on the Xbox, or Playstation it's more social. More fun is had with someone with you, rather than just speaking into a mic.

I don't know about most of you, but I find that this is the soul reason why I own consoles.

Yeah I agree, however I'm still going to save up for a gaming pc because most of the game I play are single player. For my multiplayer needs I'll get an xbox one.

Consoles today = Watered down PC's.

You want a real console? Pick up an Original Xbox, or a 360 or an N64 or hell even the original PlayStation.

You can even get old school consoles like the NES or SNES.

Its like that in most cases. I have some quite sociable games on PC. I'm not a super social gamer so that's why PC always appealed to me more.
