The funniest thing is that Destiny's RNG has been billions of times better to me than Halo 5s. In fact I got Gjallarhorn the first time I did the raid.

You just got lucky tis all. Doesn't mean the system is better. You can get the top gear every time you play like 5 warzone. Much different than cave farming. I'd rather get money any way I want towards my item than to grind fist of crota mission for eris rank. Got so fuking sick of that

I am at fucking wits end with Halo 5 about now. Not only is just playing an absolutely frustrating nightmare beacuse it still feels next to impossible to aim accurately, but you don't get anything whatsoever for enduring the bullshit match after match

i'm the complete opposite of you, i'm level 64 and i have a 1000 helmets/armor

but only 2 skins for the dmr, smg, and pistol. no skins for the ar and br. i don't even have a DMR yet, so it's pretty much a kick in the face

Ive been mostly getting helmets and armor and i only have one weapon skin(level 27 btw)

Idk how you guys went about buying your reqs but I have only ever purchased the HWC pack. It's simple to get the best stuff for your time invested. Start with bronze and once you have less common unlocks go into silver. Only 2 warzone games per pack pretty much then once you have every common-rare you go gold and you get everything you could want.

I am past that point and about to run out of ultra rare stuff around 83.

I agree with needing a larger bang for your buck with games. Arena feels useless cause of the fact that it does not even give enough for a bronze without a boost.

It'd be better if they went the CoD AW direction where you unlocked base variants of stuff and then got the extra versions in the packs.
The only reason AW's system even had a problem was because it lacked the restrictions that Halo 5 had and so then everyone who didn't unlock the Bal 27 Inferno got cucked.

The REQ system is probably one of my least favourite things 343i has brought to Halo. Completely ruined the satisfaction of unlocking new armour. Sad thing is, it's going to be in Halo 6 because so many people have bought into it.
