I'm all for developers taking their time and pushing dates back, but such a consistent series of delays doesn't bode well for the game, and for what we've seen so far it hardly seems like the game does anything extraordinary to justify such a long wait.

I eagerly await people hyping this up without seeing gameplay and numerous warning signs it will be average at best, then getting disappointed and turning on Team Ico.

Delays aren't necessarily a good thing.

I've completely lost interest in this IP. By the time this eventually releases it wouldn't have been worth the wait. It'll be a bigger flop than NMS.

my feeling that is that it's going to be a fairly mediocre game that gets a lot of sales (like NMS) due to the hype surrounding it

Don't forget about Knack, 1886 and Evolve. So far Sony has a great track record of games which ended up being shit.

for starters, NMS had 20 developers--so it was kinda bound to flop

the game's disappointment is rooted almost entirely with the developer's broken promises

this is Team ICO, and as far as i know, no big promises about the game have been made

the game has been been hyped up to high hell, but there is no way it'll be as reviled as NMS was
