The hardest boss you've ever fought?

I'm sure there's varying definitions of 'hard' depending on the game so list a bunch if you want.

Memes aside, Armstrong was a really great boss with a kickass theme but GODDAMN was he hard the first time. Especially in the DLC when you're trying to get the no-damage trophy, holly balls.

I'll add more when I think of them.

I gave up at the subway worm thing, even though in retrospect, it wasn't *that* hard to begin with. I was just impatient more than anything.

Monsoon was annoying. But EMP grenades helped me out. Sundowner was kind of dumb because all I had to do was run circles around him.

I actually have a harder time with the gorillas.

The next boss must be Jetstream Sam, I imagine I'm gonna have trouble with him because I still can't parry reliably.

I've pretty much done hit and run tactics mostly dodging shit rather than try parrying. Monsoon throws shit at you but they're kinda slow moving so they weren't too hard to parry. Other than that I just emp him when the smoke rolls in.

Monsoon certainly helped me learn parrying.

Aava isn't tough. The two cat fight itself is hard only because when you fight one, the other one will either jump you from behind or use the magic projectiles. Once you get one of the cats dead, it's just Aava all over again, which is rather easy.

All of his melee attacks were super fast rapid hits though, not quite sure how you managed that without parrying.

Sundowner took me a while to figure out, but he's really easy if you just wait for him to charge then parry him, you get to cut of half his shield right at the start.

Yeah Sam is next, but he's not TOO bad. Best get used to parrying, dodging and precise Blade Mode cutting though... you're gonna need it later on.
