Probably Ornstein and Smough my first playthrough. Everything up to and after these guys wasn't that bad, aside from Capra, but holy shit O&S kicked my shit in at least 100 times. Artorias, Kalameet, Manus, Orphan of Kos, Gank Squad, Ludwig, Maria, Bed of Chaos: all easy babby shit compared to the Dynamic Duo.

It's mostly the cluster fuckery of the area before him that has to be done in one go, since it was designed for co op. And they also slightly altered the timing of his moves, so if you've got the muscle memory for red smelter, it constantly throws you off on bluey

I've beaten some hard bosses, but none of them were anything, like, ridiculously hard.

Thunderbird & Shadow Link from Zelda II were pretty intense, I guess, but only if you don't know how to beat them.
To me, a truly difficult boss is one that remains challenging even after you've mastered their strategy.

Maybe that'll change as I keep playing DaS?...

I haven't actually played the dlc but you're right, it wasn't so bad. After dying a few times.
But DSII was easier than DS (or maybe I was just more conditioned from powering through parts of the first game?).

Yeah, some of you are probably like "Really? It isn't all that hard" And you're probably right... when you use target lock. I accidentally skipped the L target mention for my first playthrough of WW, so I played through the whole game manually aiming. moreover. I hadn't gotten my halo practicing with aiming in first person yet, so i was really bad at it. And... you have to toggle in and out of 3rd person. Every. Time. You. Aim.

Is there a way to beat Dark Link outside crouching in the corner and continuously stab spamming? On a similar note, it annoys me when half the Zelda countdowns for hardest levels either exclusively use 3D Zeldas, or have Lakebed/Water Temple as #1. Shit's more of a long grind than an actual "O shit this is my 500th attempt" tbh.
