Dark Souls 2 DLC. Stats show he had a 97 defeat rate, which must mean most players must suck or he's just too damn hard. People who've fought him, how did you find the fight?

Personally I found it easier to go in wearing Vestaldt's armor and get him into rage mode right from the start. I had the Simpleton's Ring and his attacks weren't too hard to dodge it was his fucking AOE that always got me.

Damn, I need to get some of the DLC. I'd love to try that boss.

Most of the people who died to him died because its their first try and he's rather unique with his attacks.

I found him rather easy, haven't got to him in SoTFS yet.

I managed to beat the Sunken King DLC in the original DS2 because I was a pussy noob and used summons, and did about half of the Iron king DLC.

Fast foward months and I tightened my anus and went straight into the Iron King DLC solo and wrecked house. It was awesome, not looking forward to doing the Sunken one though.
