In the area near the 2nd boss, there's 2 big rooms, each at one end of the stairs. I ran to the top one and saw the bloodstains, thought it was a boss room and noped the fuck out of there. I ran into the bottom room and it was the boss room ;_;

Has anyone found the Estus shard near the 2nd boss yet? I heard there was one around there somewhere

The first thing that killed me more than once was my first encounter with the knight.

tfw you still have the same level and gear as when you started, but you're at the part where you're killing some large villagers with big hats and a big mama with fire hugs.
