Reach was a huge success with that September release date, as it falls just in the end of UK school summer holidays. I vividly remember a lot of people buying it and playing it to death because nothing else was around at the time.

It would be a great time to release. Halo: Reach's release was great. I just hope the game releases finished if a September release is true.

Why would anyone think that's a smart decision? They should do it like they did Halo 4, and release the game 2 weeks before the latest CoD game to maximize their online numbers. In fact they should just release Halo 5 on the same day as CoD this year. But even then, that runs the chance of losing players.

Instead the right logic is to never release the game so that there will never be any player loss. It's the only logical option.
