The most consistent romance in the game is Liara, but by all means if you like her go for it. I just personally dislike how they handled her in Mass Effect 3, as opposed to ME2.

Got around just before Tali appears and played a bunch of multiplayer. So technically this playthrough is my first ever time seeing Tali.Garrus though, straight off the bat in ME1 he is cool. Always friendly, willing to help, and a badass in a fight. It's too bad that ME1 AI don't always figure out what cover is.
