i think they're shit if the map isn't perfectly symmetrical

a player's walking distance to certain powerful weapons is kind of a big deal, and i think that hurts your victory a little bit, yes

Right, that too. Like the duels are always supposed to played on equal footing and relying only on your natural skill. It's kinda crap and devoid of merit when one participant has a tricycle while the other has a Harley.
