Unless you're alone and bored out of your mind waiting for somebody you're not gonna be be on your phone that much.
It's not the same thing. Unless you're alone and bored out of your mind waiting for somebody you're not gonna be be on your phone that much.
And at the end of the day you can text easily enough with the brightness very high.
This is a video game device. It should have an anti glare screen. Getting an anti glare screen protector isn't a solution, you lose video quality and it looks grainy. That's just not acceptable and buying a 3rd party accessory so you can see outside on a sunny day is bullshit.
Quote from: Snake on October 25, 2017, 02:36:00 PMAnd how is that any different from the NS, or any other portable gaming device?Because you'll be playing for longer than you'll be looking at random shit on your phone which you don't even really pay attention too.
And how is that any different from the NS, or any other portable gaming device?
The glare is still there, though. Even with an iPhone on maximum brightness you'll still have noticeable glare, and I really don't see how that's acceptable. Anti glare screens should be more common place his day and age.
Granted this guy looks like he has the brightness at around medium, but I wouldn't know, I don't own a Switch. From some google searching I've seen quite a few Reddit pages with people complaining about this.I don't see why we as consumers shouldn't push for better technology. Especially when it's 200 bucks.
Quote from: Snake on October 25, 2017, 03:17:43 PMThat hasn't been the case for me. I only ever go on my phone to talk to someone or pass the time when I'm away from my computer or my console. The NS removes that problem for me. It's just like the DS or PSP.I don't understand what you're saying here. You don't play often or you do?

Glare is always an issue. You can't say later on in your post that you have an anti glare laptop and you still notice some glare and at the same time say it's a non issue. Come on man.
Maybe it isn't that good.
I think it's expensive enough already, it should have an anti glare screen as is. That's my point. Phones should have it too. $1000 for an iPhone and you can't see shit in the sun. It's bullshit.
When are they gonna bring back those gameboy screens? 😤

The fact that people missed the joke about the screen reflection is sad.
ok... whatever I don't see how that how most people are spending time on it. It's a console I'd say most people are spending a lot of time playing it.
Who's upset? My point is we have the technology to defy the laws of the universe, yet Nintendo is too greedy to do it. It is a problem. Everybody can ignore glare, but we shouldn't have to.
How old is it?
What competitors? Maybe I'm unaware but I haven't really seen any other popular handheld gaming devices. I think it's pretty expensive.
