The Mammal Pod requires some explanation, though. That and some of the tapes are the only bits OP might get puzzled on.

I never finished Peace Walker, and the tapes in Ground Zeroes and Phantom Pain gave me enough information on what happened in it to understand its relation to TPP.

I couldn't either before MGS V came out. Just watch the movie on YouTube, it still gives you the amazing experience.
