I actually don't want Sean at all, because he technically shouldn't even know how to fight yet. It's Ken who takes him up as his protege during Street Fighter III, so it wouldn't really make sense if he were playable here, imo.

Predictions:

Xian will beat Itabashi, guaranteed. I'm surprised Itabashi made it this far with Zangief, as bad as he is in this game.
Fuudo will probably end up beating Eita, unfortunately. I absolutely despise Fuudo and want him to lose immediately, though.
Humanbomb doesn't stand a chance against the force that is Kazunoko.
Xiao Hai will most likely take out this Go1 person who I've never heard of before.

Itabashi will proceed to get eliminated by Eita, and Humanbomb will eliminate Go1.

I want Xian to beat Fuudo, but I don't expect him to be able to.
Kazunoko will beat Xiao Hai.

Xian will eliminate Humanbomb, and Xiao Hai will eliminate Eita.

Semifinals will be Fuudo vs. Kazunoko, and Kazunoko will win.

Xiao Hai will eliminate Xian.

Fuudo will eliminate Xiao Hai.

Grand finals will be Fuudo vs. Kazunoko, and Kazunoko will win due to winner's bracket advantage. Hopefully.

It would be neat if Xiao Hai won at home, though.

keep in mind that in SFV, they made it so that the stage themes have different parts depending on the situation of the match

there's a round 1 theme and round 2 theme for each stage, and all the tracks get more intense when characters are at low health--so that's why it seems like there's a lot going on in those uploads

Rage Quitting Penalty

We are aware of the Rage Quitting issue, and this update will continue our efforts toward resolving it. We will make a second update to the existing Rage Quitting system with stricter guidelines for players who disconnect before the match is over. Players who are penalized will lose League Points and be locked out of online matching for a set time. The update will be implemented after the maintenance on 8/16.

Since the initial Rage Quitting system rollout, we have seen a rapid decrease in rage quitting players, and we believe that this new update will reduce that number even further. That being said, we’re still working on implementing a new, more robust system that will address the issue more completely by early next year.

The thing is, prequels are the easiest way for them to justify the recurrence of some fan-favorite characters. In SF3, almost the entire cast from SF2 is absent for various story-related reasons, and M. Bison is straight-up dead--for real this time. They already resurrected him once in SF4--it would be a little egregious if they did it again.

Since Street Fighter IV pretty much single-handedly revived fighting games as a competitive genre, more people than ever are starting to grow attachments to characters like Bison, Blanka, Dhalsim, and a whole host of characters that are presumed dead or missing post-SF3.

If they made SF6 take place after Third Strike, it would be very difficult for them to juggle story integrity and fan service--so that's why I think they're kinda holding off on it. Releasing a game with nothing but unfamiliar faces would probably not be the greatest business decision, but bringing characters like Bison back just wouldn't make sense on a story front.

PR Balrog, my favorite Street Fighter player, and perhaps the greatest Balrog player of all time, is dropping said character in SFV for Necalli.

Heartbreaking news, especially as a Rog player myself. His reason was simple and forthright: "Balrog = bad character imo"

Urien is out.

In Third Strike, Urien was known for sporting only his trademark thong during fights--but in V, hey appear to have given him some kind of classy pimp suit instead. Still, lots of players were disappointed by this, and yearned to gaze upon his sinewy physique again.

...Until someone found this Easter egg.

Holding light punch, medium kick, and hard punch during Urien's intro cutscene strips him down to his thong.

The solution also prevents memory address hack that are commonly used for cheating and illicitly obtaining in-game currency and other entitlements that haven’t been purchased yet.

The anti-crack solution does not require online connectivity in order to play the game in offline mode; however, players will be required to click-confirm each time they boot up the game. This step allows ‘handshake’ to take place between the executable and the dependent driver prior to launch.

Here's exactly what's been happening to PC users:

post-update if you don't have the game installed on the same drive as your OS then you get thrown into an administration permissions loop when launching through steam. it'll launch, ask for permission then never open.

capcom is a bunch of fucking amateur hacks. they should have never ported this shit to windows. its fucking sad how bad this game is speaking in terms of a QA'd software program. and the way they charge out the ass for every single thing they bothered to develop post-launch (who are we kidding, half this shit was 80% done by the time sfv launched) is just piss juice on top of the shit sandwich that this game is on PC.

if you're about to buy this game, get it on ps4. dont even think about bothering to buy it on pc.

what a fucking joke. and fuck you if you finished reading this and have started to mentally justify this sad excuse for software dev on capcoms part.

In short, this driver creates a back door which can allow a non-privileged user to run code with permissions of the kernel.
