I finished the game about a week ago, and let me tell you that there were about 5 moments where I stopped playing because I was sick of the area, but it's like a snowball rolling down a mountain. The more time you put into the game, the more substance there is for it. Towards the end there's so much pulling you in that you'd have to be some sort of psychopath that leaves good things, to just walk away from the game. The story, the characters, the power, it all builds up with time, and all these aspects allure you to play more.

I noticed that was a thing with both KOTOR games. Peragus wasn't too bad, but the planet immediately after was an absolute chore for me that I rushed through without thinking and got my ass handed to me immediately afterwards. Same for the first city in KOTOR1 but at least that city looked nice.

Telos I think is one of the places that suffered from the game being unfinished. IIRC there was a lot more planned for it than what we actually got.

I always thought the Kreia interaction with the companions was different depending on which characters you brought with you, since I brought the handmaiden and Visas

Nah, it's more dependent on your relationships with Visas and Handmaiden as they're more relevant to that particular scene.
