Quote from: Rocketman287 on January 30, 2016, 12:04:39 AMJust curious, what exactly is so bad about Amiibo? It mostly seems like an inconsequential feature, and obviously doesn't have the impact Nintendo were hoping for. Mostly just seems like they're just shipping games with Amiibo support because they built a fucktonne when they were certain it would be a popular feature, and had no choice but to try and sell them because they lost money in the build and need to make it back. Let's not forget that some of the figures are just visual abominations.

-Artificial scarcity drives demand despite not really serving much of a purpose
Game has an optional "Invincibility mode" added for new players to learn the new controls, and apparently people are......mad about this?

So is this a remake or a sequel to 64?
I liked Assault as a kid, hoping I'll like this one too.
Heard that this game is going to be super easy.

Though the idea of one particular amiibo giving you extra value in several different games is a cool idea. But there is a problem: usually one amiibo doesn't provide that, you need several different ones.

Right now it seems like the only game amibos are good for, besides their main game, is Smash Bros.
QuoteAmiibo support confirmedWould've been nice to have at least one franchise not tainted by this shit.
Amiibo support confirmed
Falco amiibo makes your plane 3x weaker so I'm going with that.
Im kind hoping James McCloud makes an actual appearance.
