Hybrids? Hybrids of what?

The Hybrids are creatures created by combining Zerg and Protoss DNA. They were first seen in Starcraft Brood War where Zeratul first has encounters with them. The shape-shifter Narud constructed them on "hundreds of worlds" as he says. In Zeratul's prophecy in Starcraft 2, Amon(who is in control of the Hybrids) uses them and the Zerg to kill off the Terran and the Protoss. Whenever he gets done wiping out the Terran and Protoss, he kills the Zerg and takes over the galaxy with his army of Hybrids.

That creature in the new trailer who attacks Kerrigan is a Hybrid of some sort and not a Xel Naga. We have yet to know what a Xel Naga looks like but I think Amon is a Xel Naga and he looks like a Protoss.
