I'm really liking the environment variation, well what little we've seen.

DS2 was too green/grey, and Bloodborne was too...dark. I'm glad this seems to be going back to the nice mix that DS1 had.

I don't want them rehashing old stuff like Sunbros for fanservice but it would be nice to get some throwbacks to the lore. Maybe a mention or an item description here and there

Eh, I know there's not much point in leaving it in there because it works well, but I'm always into seeing what new things they could add, even if it was just making a new Covenant that functions in the same way.

Already in the first game the covenant of the Sun was a dying one with the only structure that is related to it being almost completely decayed and probably only being prayed to by Solaire.
That it was present in the second game was weird, and it's positioning was even dumber - what the fuck is that statue doing there in a valley filled with poisonous gas, where by brutes and ogres reside.
I'd much rather expect the elements of Chaos reoccurring in the series than the Sun since it had that much of impact on the world solely going off from a lore standpoint.
