What? You thought this would be in the Serious board, talking about how horrible the economy is?
BAHAHA! No.

Instead, we are talking about one of the most wackiest F2P game's economy. Team Fortress 2
First off, Team Fortress 2 having it's own currency and market is EXTREMELY wierd to begin with. However let's just roll with it.

Discuss the different market stuff in TF2, or just how wierd it is. You can also talk about trade offers and whatnot.

It's really silly, but I can get why people are doing it sometimes, with how outrageous prices for a hat or taunt can be >.>

Seriously, a new taunt that is basically hiding under a cardboard box is 8 bucks

I had a friend who was like, super into the economy of CS:GO, he used to make so much money off of it

Like, actual money, I highly doubt it was legal

TF2 is also pretty weird, I don't really get the game economy stuff

i know cs:go isnt tf2 but i guess its relevant

Well, TF2 has it's own currency in the form of ref, AKA Refined Metal.
This is what I know of the currency from trying to work with it to get a free hat.

Normal Weapon: 0.05 ref
Scrap Metal: 0.11 ref
Reclaimed Metal: 0.22 ref
Refined Metal: 1 ref

Them each hat, taunt, strange/unusual weapon, etc have it's own pricing.

Apparently my Deus Specs are worth 3.66 ref, and my The Merc's Muffler are worth 5 ref.
