For the first time since the alpha, after I gave up on it in disgust.
And I was pleasantly surprised.

By just how horrendous it still was.

It's not like I did badly or anything, my shitbucketry held true and I was getting top of the scoreboard despite not having done PVP on it for... well ever. But christ on a cross, what a laggy random clusterfuck. So many people getting oneshotted by crazy bollocks everywhere ._____.

It's like... MW3 and Halo had a bastard child but it didn't get enough oxygen in the womb.

Bounty was ogre, scrublords were dunked and a laggy time was had by all!

Seriously though, I thought BF4 had some horrendous netcode but lawd was I wrong. GG bungle, gg.

It wasn't that bad in the beta, I enjoyed it. It was just too easy though, I played a lot of the beta with DoomDH and most games we were getting 20+ kills and few deaths. Owning fags is fun but only for so long.

The design/balancing is just godawful

The netcode is piss-poor, but somehow relatively no one seems to complain about it

The number of gametypes is laughable (even if you were to include every single event related gametype, you'd have...3, 4 if you want to count FFA as a separate gametype)

The only thing they've got is matches not taking 45 minutes to find.

There's 2 gametypes with mild variations . Team death match, team death match with irrelevant capture points, team death match with irrelevant flags, team death match with extra vehicles, and regular death match

Crucible has amazing gameplay, but it's just so dull. Deathmatch this, Deathmatch that. No objective gametypes? The only fun gametypes are Iron Banner, Control on some maps, and Rumble. And even then; those get boring fast.

Update after my second day of accompanying my friend into that hellhole, I managed to finish the exotic bounty that dragged me in there in basically my first game but he's still struggling along because he's not a complete shitbucket.

It's basically like being fucked from every angle by a chainsaw.
Not only do you have the unholy amounts of lag, but everyone is using the cheapest weapons imaginable to get a kill. Shotgun + Laggy spaniard + Fist of Havoc = Don't even bother.

I actually had to go on BF4 to get the sour taste out of my mouth.

Absolutely Haram/10
