Like everyone else I agree the first 6 seasons were the best. No where near as good as everyone says they were. Season 10 was pretty decent though. If you want good machinima I have to say Ross Scott's Civil Protection is very VERY good. It's a different type of humor, but I enjoy it more. Plus it's pretty well animated for what it's worth.

You have to remember it was 2001, before Machinima/aking videos on ames was a thing. The market wasn't really that big so there wasn't much out there. Plus, Bungie and 343i give them attention so they got a larger audience from the developers.

I really enjoyed it. Even all the Freelancer stuff. Season 8 was a real highlight for me. The animation in season 12 was dodgy though.
