Did you let the patcher actually download the game? The Patcher has to download the 4-6GB of the game. Closing it can often cancel the download completely.

That's rather annoying. I play on a Desktop now and don't have that issue but why don't you have your laptop set to not standby when plugged into an outlet?

Yeah that is really annoying. The patcher/launcher is annoying and they are finally updating it along with the game after 2 whole years.
