Welp. At least I got one. Paid $300 for it and that's the cheapest I was able to get it new, but I wanted it so yeah. This is my video on it.

Anyone here own one or was able to get one for less?

Again that's cheapest I've found it for at the time, because before that there were several $415 and up. Also, my coworkers are even bigger idiots. They spend a fuck ton of money every weekend just to get laid by prostitutes. If you defend that you're no better.

that doesn't have 30 in-built games, some of which are considerably rare and expensive, and aren't optimized for HD televisions, and also isn't as much of a collector's item

The original experience on a genuine NES is superior to that of a NES classic edition.
Also the NES classic edition has been hacked already, you can load the HD optimised games on your pc and emulate them too.
It's not my fault Nintendo released something with limited stock.

Emulators aren't exactly the same experience, and in case you haven't realized, I play on a computer monitor. I don't own a TV, and I tried getting an RCA to HDMI converter before, those things tend to hate my monitor.

So the NES Classic Ediiton was a good alternative for me.

Yes I agree that the price was stupid, but as I said before. I wanted it. Don't fucking care.
