Her death absolutely has weight. The bloody epilogue alone shows the weight her death has had on the story.

The first bit I meant the fact that in pretty much any Triple A game you can't kill off a character and expect the character to be dead. Me being sad that she doesn't come back in Halo 5 I'll assume she actually is dead. Which she probably isn't.

The weight part I phrased wrong. I meant I didn't practically care when Cortana died.
