I'm downloading the patch now, if this actually fixes my major gripes with the game... I will sacrifice a hundred babbys to shrek.

I don't think it will be quite like that, what I hope they mean is the BF3 Magnum.
The .44 has a shitty half second or so delay in BF4 that just ruins any aimed shot.

This is me whilst playing for the last hour.

BF4 feels as snappy and clean cut as it should, gunfights feel fair and I was even in a server with two Russkies, A Turk and a BRASIL player with no lag. Maybe that's placebo but ;o; It's just delicious.

I haven't played in forever and have no urge to start. I tried coming back for the DLC maps. The naval one lagged horribly and the (newest?) one had horrible maps.

Yeah Naval Strike was a nightmare, I actually really liked the new DLC maps though >.>

It might be worth giving it a shot again, this patch really gave the game a booster shot.

I haven't played in months. With the endless rubber banding and rooftop campers not PTFO, this game got really old, really fast. I hope this patches really helps, i definitely enjoy the Battlefield franchise. With that being said, it just hasn't been the same since Battlefield: BC2...

Delay from pulling the trigger to it firing - gone
Delay between rounds while he cocks the hammer - I expect that will still be there.

It's downloaded now so I'll hop on the test range and find out.

But the gun is double action, why would your character need to bring back the hammer after every shot.

It was my mistake, I was thinking of a different game and a different gun >.>

There is no trigger delay, but the gun settles briefly before firing another round as it did in '3.
It's not like the FN57 where you can dump the mag as fast as you can pull the trigger but it's as it should be.
