No, I hate those games. I couldn't get an ounce of enjoyment out of it.

The weapons don't suck, and I was excited as hell to use the energy sword.

But I said "practically" the same. Not the exact same. Meaning, the SMG is like the AR, the BR and Carbine are like the Pistol.

Dude, 14 million doesn't mean 14 million different weapons. It means an SMG that shoots electricity, and one that shoots electricity that damages a little more and maybe shoots 2 bullets at once or some shit.

that's why i used the word "varieties" earlier--I should've said "variations"

but yes, that's precisely what makes borderlands cool

the lancer is just a regular gun with a chainsaw tacked on for the sake of being different
the grenades are grenades
the digger is like, the only weapon that's somewhat different 
the boomshot isn't anything special or unique

I dunno.  A shotgun that can cross-map, but only when you're host, is pretty unique tbh fam.

Pretty great series.

BL1- Great game with a bad story (not that it really matters)

BL2- Great game with a pretty good story. It admittedly starts off slow, but its overall much much better than bl1.

BL2:2- Bastard game. It's not bad but it feels very dull compared to bl2.

Tales: haven't played yet, but judging by what people are saying about it: I really need to.

Borderlands 1 and 2 were amazing, and I thoroughly enjoy the art style and design of the series.

Ive only played Borderlands 2. It was really fun, my only gripe is that when youre playing online you pretty much have to compete over weapon drops.

Both are fun. I considered buying the collection for ps4, but I can't play it again without cringing at the meme references.
