Happens even on Wii U and I really thought it wouldn't. At least there's a C stick that I can use to prevent that from happening since I use the GC controller.

That's an immediate handicap for literally anyone. The GC controller is probably the best/most sturdy controller Nintendo has made. Perfect for Smash bros.
