I am both excited and scared that this is coming out, I just hope to christ that they go back to the old formula, and the stupid nintendo higher ups don't force them to change the gameplay like they did with gates and when sticker star came out.

i never cared for the other games in this series, are they good?

play red/bblue, or explorers of sky, the first two are basically the same game, but the game itself is 10/10, and explorers of sky is the Emerald/Platinum/Crystal of the explorers of darkness/time series and the best of the 3.

ive tried to play them before on emulators, didnt much care for them. i was just curious if they were "good" not my cup of tea though.

i enjoyed them

they were definitely unique

did you actually get past the first part of the game? because the second half of both of the good games were darker than you'd expect and take a pretty real turn near the ends of the games.

i didn't really have that perspective

the whole 'go back in time to save the world' aspect of darkness/time was pretty well done, and the whole of red/blue was a fun ride with decent characters and development.

Never played a Mystery Dungeon game.

well if you like dungeon crawling, and a decent story with likable characters then go for it and emulate one of the games.
