His eyebrows sparkling, his white beard hangs down to his chest. The thatched mats, spread outside his chise, spread softly, his splendid attos. He polishes, cross-legged, his makiri, with his eyes completely absorbed.

He is Ainu.

The god of Ainu Mosir, Ae-Oine Kamuy, descendant of Okiku-Rumi, He perishes, a living corpse. The summers day, the white sunlight, unabrushed, ends simply through his breath alone.

Another quick update.

I'm in the middle of a city mission and I'm seeing the faces of Das, Bacon, Neko, and Ender plastered everywhere on big holo screens. They're apparently the most wanted people in XCOM.

Mission 17: Andromadons

After resupplying at the home base we set off to go gather secure one of our surveillance devices in New Brazil that had been discovered by the enemy. The deployed team consisted of Ender, Tru, Azure, Irish, Big Boss, and Bacon.

Almost immediately after touching down in the town the group was set upon by an andromadon and two advent. The team focused fire on this new foe and quickly took it and its friends down.

Unfortunately this was not the end for this creature as even with it's occupant dead the suit fought on. It charged recklessly at Ender spewing acid from its now open cockpit until it was ultimately felled by Tru.

With the first squad of enemies dead the the team split into two groups. Ender and Tru flanked through the graveyard while the rest of the squad set up inside the church. Once inside a firefight erupted  between the main group and the enemies within. With their attention drawn away Ender and Tru were able to get the jump on them and quickly mop up the remaining forces.

Mission 18: UFO Salvage

Almost immediately after our victory over the andromadons we received a report from our friends in the Eastern US precinct that they had managed to down a UFO. The salvage team consisted of Das, Bacon, Tru, Azure, Neko, and a rookie.

The mission started off simple enough. The squad made their way to the downed ship killing the small pockets of Advent that had already arrived on their way. Once they made it inside the ship however things began to get hairy. Das, Tru, and Bacon were immediately set upon by two mutons and an Archon as soon as they entered the ship. After narrowly dodging a blast from one of the mutons pulse rifles Bacon made his way through the hole in the wall it left behind to shut down the now blaring distress beacon. This left Das and Tru to cover him. With some quick footing Tru was able to cut down the first muton with his sword before taking cover as Das fired his gattling mag cannon inches above his head. With the mutons down the archon came charging towards Tru with its pole arm ready to strike. Seeing this Das sprung into action and unleashed another hail of super heated lead into the creature and sending it down for the count.

With the inhabitants dead and the distress beacon deactivated the squad relaxed a little thinking that they could catch a breather. As if sensing that they had let their guard down however another Archon sprang forth and launched missiles at them. Das and Tru ran back out of the ship and into the safety of the rest of the squad as they opened fire on it. Injured and in a frenzy it made a desperate charge towards Neko, Tru attempted to save the day with a quick over watch shot but failed miserably leading to Neko being impaled and left bleeding out and unconscious on the ground by the creature.

Disappointed in Tru, Azure shook her head and pulled out her pistol to properly finish the mission.
