Quote from: Mordo on May 18, 2016, 08:34:18 PMWhat's the max amount of empires you can have in a galaxy? No idea. You have have 40 to start with, but more can emerge due to either being primitive races that made it to the space faring age or because an already existing empire went through something like a civil war and split into multiple different factions. In one of my games the empire to the north of me had some pretty big ethics divergences among its population and as a result went into a three way civil war that split its territory up between the loyalist oligarchs and a newly formed republic and commonwealth.

The Fedrahki will establish galactic dominance.
I hope you're all killed by a crisis faction.
Also. I'd honestly find it more interesting if you were playing with these guys as well. That way we see how you would play with a bunch of psychos around you.
So I'm actually going to delay this until the first patch comes out which should be in a few days here. It includes a fix that makes it so AI empires no longer sit and just passively defend against the galaxy crisis and will actually go on offense as well. This means you guys won't get slowly swallowed up by whatever shows up in the galaxy provided you're strong enough to fight back.As a side note, would you people want me to mod it so all three can appear in the same galaxy? Normally only one can spawn per galaxy, two of them are the result of playing around with dangerous tech and the third will happen if the other two don't, i can make it so you have a chance to get all three, but things might get a bit cluster fucky if I do.Also the space platypus race will be unlocked with this patch if anyone wants to switch to it.
why am i so small wtf
How are my space penguins doing.I won in conquest in my play through

Ender and Bacon were fighting a war on two fronts since Azure directed her federation to get revenge on Ender for the cheap shot she did earlier and the three of you decided you really wanted Bacons territory.

Latest available WHQL drivers from both manufacturers. DirectX: Version 9.0c Network: Broadband Internet connection Storage: 4 GB available space Sound Card: Direct X 9.0c- compatible sound cardmaking the max amount of stars and AI empires though if you're not sure if your computer can handle it. Not that you'd want to in my opinion cause 40 other empires + however many fallen empires, primitive species that graduate into their own interstellar empires over the course of the game, and the other empires that can be made from civil wars, granting independence to or liberating worlds under either your or another empires control. Also there's factions that can spring up as a "crisis" if people mess around with dangerous tech such as AI which can start an AI revolution.
