I was never a fan of a video that just was nothing but shitting on something video game related to a degree. Because even while I'd probably agree with a lot of stuff he said, you can't just go in and say EVERYTHING about the game was shit (at least that's how I feel), and why it's the bane of video games existence.

I could make a list of things I love about Fallout 3, and why even though it's not my favorite Fallout experience, it's still gotten more enjoyment out of me than 90% of the other games I've played.

Fallout doesn't suck and neither does elder scrolls. Everything else is garbage.

The creator has a terrible way of presenting his ideas, being both superfluous and vitriolic. It's hard actually taking him seriously until he starts really explaining his ideas. However, he substantiates his arguments and gives counter examples in earlier titles. I think he's actually pretty convincing, if you can sit through his snark.

You don't have to dislike Fallout 3 after watching the video. I still enjoyed my experience playing it, after all. The video presented me with interesting things to consider about games so I'm thinking about them, and I'm aiming to get my hands on earlier fallout titles so I can see for myself where I agree and disagree with him.

He does make some good points throughout the video, I just dislike his assholey matter-of-fact way of putting it across.

Also, you should absolutely get the earlier games. They're great. They just take a while to adjust to.
