Ehhh I enjoyed the story. It was a great game and I'm playing through it again (HD remake on PS4) and enjoying it to the fullest.

But to say it is the best FF and not acknowledge its flaws is a little silly.

Its not like Final Fantasy has ever been all about the open world aspect anyway.

And i wouldnt say its a hand holder, definitely easier than other FF's but some of its bosses are among the hardest in the series.

FFX is the only FF I've ever played (pretty much), though, so, I don't have the other games in the series to compare it to.
