So I have not used my first 360 in a long time, the disk drive broke and I had a slim so I never really needed to use it except for old saves. So I booted it up a few days ago only to see the 4 red rings. I am now moving the memory on of my old console to a new hard drive that I bought through the use of a transfer cable that I bought.

Spoiler

I will miss it. Post your RROD experiences.

I'm on my second 360. A fat elite model.
Got it in 2009, and it's on its way out. Disc tray won't open unless I bang on top of the console, and it doesn't like to read discs straight away (takes like 5 mins to get it to read).

My original 360, back in 2007, was an arcade model that was second hand from Ebay, and came with a 20GB HDD, which was nice.
It ended up getting RRoD, but I kept doing the towel trick until I could get a new one.

I've jerry-rigged the fuck out of my original 360 that I got on release. It still works to this day, but we call it the "AC130" on account for how loud it is.

Usually I just use the Halo 4 edition I bought a couple years back.

Feet first into fun!
I still have my old 360 Pro, the only thing that went wrong with it was a hardware malfunction that I fixed by unplugging and my hard drive.

The angel agreed to trade a set of white wings for the head of another demon. Overjoyed, the demon killed one of his own and plucked the head right off its still-warm body.

The angel then led the demon to heaven, where he underwent centuries of the cruelest tortures imaginable. Finally, the pain was so great that he lost consciousness - at which point his dark wings turned the promised shade of white.
My Elite is still working. The only problem i have is that the disc tray refuses to open sometimes, which is fixed with a butter knife or a disc.

Goodness gracious, great balls of lightning!
My first Xbox 360 that I got for Christmas in 2007 lasted a month before it RROD. I sent it in to get repaired but Microsoft ended up sending me a new one instead.

That one lasted until August and then I sent in that one to get repaired. They fixed it and that Xbox 360 lasted me until late 2011 when the disc drive stopped reading games.

I bought my friend's Xbox 360 a couple months later and that one lasted me until February of this year.

If I'm not here, I'm doing photography. Or I'm asleep. Or in lockdown. One of those three, anyway.

The current titlebar/avatar setup is just normal.
My first Xbox lasted for two years until the laser to read the discs began dying somehow. Cleaning it did nothing, so I'm on my second Xbox, the 500GB "slim" version.

Quieter, but still vibrates the fucking house.

hey
I'm still on my first 360, which I got in 2010

Poor thing's still chugging along, it makes horrible noises when loading discs, the disc tray doesn't open unless there's a disc inside and I haven't used it in awhile either, I'm worried it's probably dead from me having not used it

I have a 360 Elite that I got around 2009-2010 and it still runs perfectly fine. I use it to play Density and occasionally play Halo if I'm feeling nostalgic.

Got a 360 Pro back in 2007, and it lasted about a year before it got the RRoD. It was still under warranty so we got a Factory restore/replacement/whatever they do. Still had all our profile data and shiz. The replacement got Red ring'd somewhere between 2008 and '09, and that one's been with us ever since, although it seems to be on the way out.

Sometimes it refuses to load maps in games, or just read discs in general. It also tries to retract the disc tray the moment you grab the disc, and, if successful, requires 20 minutes of spamming Eject and smacking the side to open again. It also sometimes makes a really unpleasant noise when reading some discs.
