Rate Halo 5

On a scale of 2-4 where 2 is the best and 4 is the worst.

I haven't played it yet, so I'm wondering about the game, since 343s last Halo was a disaster.

What kind of dumb scale is that?

The MP is a lot of fun. Warzone is great. I haven't played much arena though ( mainly because of Warzone), but it's largely unchanged from the beta, which was a lot of fun.
The gameplay is slick.
The campaign is fun, but the story is pretty mixed though, tbh. It has good bits, okay bits, and crap bits.

I'm bored of it already. Maybe I'm just getting older, but even Halo 4 gave me more to do three years ago. The mechanics are solid and the game is polished, but there is a severe lack of things to do compared to previous Halo iterations (yes, I know they said we're getting more content shortly). No Oddball, King of the Hill, Territories, Grifball, Infection...not even for custom games yet, which makes me think this game was very rushed. Warzone feels like a chore now, not enough variety. Found all the intel, skulls, and beat the campaign on solo Legendary, so not much else to do there. Think of everything this Halo game is missing that previous entries had like 3, Reach and 4.

The multiplayer is the best since CE.

Warzone is trash. A further fleshed-out FireFight/Spartan Ops would have been better.

A modified Warzone is literally Firefight.
Remove enemy players. Make AI move around the map more.

They said they'd do a PvE Warzone if enough people wanted it.

One of the best multiplayer modes in the series, but a very so-so campaign.

It's a good entry overall.

Halo 5 had great cinematography, and had many great tracks that weren't based off of Marty's work (the dick riding is literally just the iconic monk theme and the main theme. Everything else is a new composition).

3 and Reach are the worst campaigns.

I'd give it a 6/10.

To me, the Campaign was mediocre, and by far it was the least enjoyable. The gameplay is solid and fun, but it lacks the content that almost every other Halo had. I grow weary of having different variants of slayer, and the maps that came with Warzone. Nevertheless, I had fun with the multiplayer experience they provided, but I do not wish to wait for them to spoon feed me the rest of the content. As for the Sangheili, what excuse are they going to use now? In Halo 4, 343i said that the Sangheili evolved. What now? They could have based the design off of the Halo 2 Anniversary elites at least. The current models are a constant reminder of the space hicks that we encountered back in 4.

Before the release, I believe 343i mentioned that they were making the darkest campaign to date.

Literally the only issue with the use of the Halo 4 Sangheili model in Halo 5 is Thel 'Vadam.

The only thing I can remember is the opening with Osiris doing some Superman-esque shit (it's all in one-shot) which was admittedly pretty cool, but felt out of place and unrealistic for the universe. Everything else (bar music, again) was better in Reach.
