I wouldn't consider Firered/Leafgreen Gen 3, nor HG/SS as Gen 4. Just lump them in with Gen 1 and 2 to make it easier.

I will say that the remake for FR/LG was fun, and hearing Blue's Champion theme remastered for the first time like that with the electric guitar and all was REALLY memorable. As was the ending song when Red runs off.


This still sounds good to me and far more creative than anything Rube/Sapphire offered with their overuse of same sounding songs. Remake fixed that though, though some of the songs were hit and miss *ahem* Elite 4 *ahem*

They nailed Steven's theme though with that rif.





If it's not obvious, I love pokemon music as much as I love Zelda/Final Fantasy music
