Want to play through Treyarch’s gritty futuristic campaign for Call of Duty: Black Ops 3? You’ll need an Xbox One, PS4 or PC. Less than two months out of release, Activision has announced that the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions of the game won’t be getting a campaign mode, though they will still be getting zombies and multiplayer. The older machines just can’t take the heat, the company says.“The ambitious scope of the 1-4 player [co-op] Campaign design of the PS4, Xbox One and PC versions could not be faithfully recreated on old generation hardware,”Activision said in a blog post. “Delivering the best possible gameplay experience on all platforms is always our highest priority.”
I'd honestly be surprised if they are still being supported in 2016.And if they are, I'd be mildly annoyed if it's hamstringing any games that I like the look of.

Good. Once we finally drop the last gen, devs can make their games without having those limits in mind.I mean. It's rampant in Battlefield 4. Originally, the riot shield was going to equip on and protect the player's back when not in use, and allow the player to use a sidearm when in use. Two features dropped because the 360 and ps3 can't handle it.
that's not too bad if it's at a discounted price, i don't know 100% but i assume it isn't
Who plays new CoDs for the campaign anyways?

Well ok, I mean implying 10 year old tryhards will go straight to any CoD campaign.

I know. But MW2 didn't have anything on the scale of BF4

But MW2 didn't have anything on the scale of BF4 - apparently the 7th gen simply can't handle to have that feature alongside everything else that's going on. I can kind of believe that, based off of personal experience.
Why are they still making games for last-gen? Those are just holding us back.
