It's only going up in NA, the EU and UK price was already put up around March if I remember right.

They know people won't unsub because you basically have to have PS+ now. I don't really care myself. $10 a month isn't much. Though I don't agree with the increase. You know it's not to "reflect changing market conditions".

It's not even that I care about paying 10 extra dollars, it's that they're just randomly doing it because they can. They aren't adding any new features or anything

Everything good coming to PlayStation in the next 2 years is all single player anyway

I'd love if they have a cheaper (or hell, free like it was on PS3) alternative where I just had online and wasn't getting "extras" like monthly games and "exclusive" pointless walpapers and themes.

I don't want or need any of those things, but because it's in a shitty bundle, there's no choice.

Even if this doesn't affect EU/UK yet, it's shitty. I haven't heard about any justification for it, so what stops them from raising the prices eleswhere?

I don't use it but this increase better damn mean better security and a game line up which can compete with MS MP wise. It's bullshit that people are paying for online gaming but Sony is hardly producing any online games off their own for it. The majority of their lineup for 2016 are just single player games.
