OT: That video seems to be aimed at kids who selected their dream job based on what they thought would be the coolest, with no consideration of the hardships involved tbh. Anybody who's actually serious about wanting to work in that industry will be well aware of the indie market saturation, and all of the other points addressed in the video, They'll likely be smart enough to take a few programming courses and whatnot.

Of course it's not for everybody in practice. I can't think of a single line of employment that every person on earth will excel at/enjoy a permanent career in.

Why do people keep making these canned Text to Speech animations like this? To be honest they look incredibly tacky and are kind of hard to take seriously. What even is that program?

Probably because they sound like stoners over a mic and don't want to take 3 months of voice acting classes to be able to sound like a normal human being tbh
