yeah no, the mere fact that you can't catch all pokémon with a single purchased game disqualifies it in my book

you also need pokémon bank to complete the dex in a current game, which is subscription based—unless you have a friend to help you trade and stuff, but again, that's a second game purchase

That had at least one DLC dungeon and a ton of paywalled armor sets if I remember correctly

Sleeping Dogs - Pretty decent GTA-like, but with more focus on melee combat over guns. Set in Hong Kong and inspired by Kung Fu flicks. Story was pretty good. I liked the setting, from what I've heard it's pretty accurate to feeling like the real Hon Kong on a street level (though they took some liberties with the geography and were things are - and obviously it's much smaller).

Portal 2 - It's Portal 2, I can't say much about this one that others haven't.

Night in the Woods - Very story-driven sort of walking-simulator esque thing. There are some mini games here and there, but 95% of the focus is on character interactions. It's kind of short, I played through it in 8 hours. Though there things you can miss if you choose other stuff instead, so I hear you can have multiple playthroughs that are different. I personally liked this one a lot and will do another playthrough someday soon.

Guacamelee!  - Fun metroidvania brawler where the fighting moves and the platforming abilities are the same thing. Inspired by Mexican mythology and luchador wrestling. Pretty great music and IMHO good looking art style. The story is kind of lackluster though, it's a typical save-the-princess deal. This edition has an extra area I think, don't know how well that holds up to the rest of the game (I played the original version).
