You have a chance of waking up on the same turn with shed skin/rest combo. Go with Amnesia if you want a special wall, otherwise Bulk Up to make up for his lower defence.Alternatively you can run a Dragon Dance/Moxie set. I find the mixed offence/defence much more effective though than full offence. Plus his speed isn't that remarkable to begin with. Might as well focus on his strengths and exploit them.
